Peter Churchward - e-Government
Peter Churchward is a business oriented consultant and project manager. He is a business graduate and competent in the areas of business development and solution sales, organizational change, and general management including P&L and budgetary responsibility. He has managed many large complex business, technology and infrastructure project portfolios in e-Government, Health, Education, Utilities, Defense and Aviation. He has managed projects at various stages and over their entire lifecycle. He is skilled in establishing sound program governance, methodology, developing critical project start-up success criteria, undertaking ‘in-flight’ project audits and course correction, and formal post implementation reviews. Peter’s background in business and system’s analysis enables him to undertake specific productivity and service improvement analysis as a pre-cursor to strategic projects. Peter Churchward has over 30 years experience as a business consultant, educator and senior manager for many large organisations in both the public and private sectors. Peter has held senior management positions in the Royal Navy, GEC, ICL, AAPT Cellular One, Synergy International and Secor consultancies; and run his own specialist DMS/GIS consultancy and system integrator. Among his government clients are the governments of Great Britain, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Cyprus, Malaysia, Botswana, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Hong Kong. He has undertaken work for major private companies, e.g. Woolworths, Du-pont, Mazda Cars, BT, Yorkshire Electricity and Pioneer Steel.
