Based in Singapore: Jonathan KOH Tat Tsen, Director, Solutions & Consulting

Jonathan Koh heads CrimsonLogic’s Solutions & Consulting team for trade facilitation and procurement solutions.

Jonathan and team provide the domain expertise for CrimsonLogic’strade-related solutions including Single Windows,Customs Management, Port Community System,Free Trade Zone Platform, and Public Sector Procurement.

In his consultancy role, Jonathan looks after the areas of Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Modeling, as well as developing Reference Models for Trade Facilitation, Customs Administration, and Government Procurement.

He has over 20 years of experience in public sector including procurement,logistics & supply management, trade facilitation, and free trade regimes.

In his current role, Jonathan has been involved and led in providing consultancy and advisory services to many governments in their Single Window / Trade Facilitation initiatives, including countries in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Central Asia, North & Central America, and the Caribbean.

He had also presented at many international forums in the area of trade facilitation, public-private partnerships and e-government, including those organized by United Nations, World Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat, Asian Development Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, APEC, and ASEAN forums. He also served as CrimsonLogic’s representative in the Pan Asian e-commerce Alliance (PAA).

Jonathan had served as a principal consultant for several consulting engagements serving mainly governments and customs authorities, including Qatar’s Customs Clearance Single Window, as well as Trade Facilitation studies for countries such as Bahrain, Pakistan, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, Mongolia,etc.

He had also served as an resource expert on various projects including the United Nations Network of Experts for Paperless Trade in Asia Pacific (UN NExT); United Nations Single Window Implementation Framework and the ASEAN Single Window Technical Working Group.

Jonathan began his career with the Singapore Government, serving for 11 years, where he is involved in logistics and supply management roles.

He then served in the private sector for 14 years, in senior management roles, including co-founding a supply chain software firm. Before joining Crimsonlogic, Jonathan served with SAP AG as a subject matter expert on Supply Management and Public Sector Procurement.

In this role, he provided strategic advisory services to governmental ministries, as well as public-linked companies. in the areas of public sector best practices, business transformation, and process reviews.

Prior to SAP, Jonathan was a partner in a supply chain consultancy, and had consulted for multinational corporationsin the area of global trade management, sourcing & procurement, supply chain & landed cost optimization, preferential trading regimes and trade financing.

His various consulting engagements covered several industry sectors including public sector, defense, logistics & transportation, consumer goods, automotive, and trading.

Jonathan Koh has a B. Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and a MBA (Finance & Investment) from the University of Hull, UK.
